Dehydrated from these dry conversations,
you seem to never care.
Thirsty for your attention,
and those spontaneous flare.
I tried to drink it off with soda,
coffee or some water.
But none of those seem to work for satisfying
this crave that I bear.
For now I do not know what's real and what's not,
what's right and what's fair.
And since we've shared this drink of love,
it's been hard to stay sober.
for I can't bear the possibility
of us not lasting forever.
I tried to drink it off with soda,
coffee or some water.
But I know none of those will ever work,
Unless I slept myself forever.
Because you've intoxicated me with the strongest liquor.
And given me my biggest hang-over.

"Life's short, treat everyday as if it was your last". Well, I think that's crap, first of all, you'll never know how you'll treat your last day unless you were given the opportunity to know when you'll die. For all you know, you might just be walking in home from work and get struck by lightning. Or just be eating lunch and the building you are in collapses. And second, life's not short. a minute for taking a bath is short, an hour for learning to play the guitar is short, but what, 70? 80? 90? years for living. It sure is not short. It's just fast. The years will just pass you by just like that. So before your years wear you down, have a better appreciation of your life and everything that gives it its meaning. Be spontaneous. Surprise a friend, surprise yourself. Grab a beer, share a drink. Don't be so serious. Crack a joke, your friends will always be there to laugh with you. Take a chance, don't waste your time on someone who's not worth ur minute. Find someone who'll make your heart beat a bit faster, your chest thud a bit louder. And make your fast life lag a little.
